Jokowi Officially Changes The Position Of Cabinet Secretary, Pramono Anung: Alhamdulillah, It's Not Easy To Take Care Of The President's Kitchen

JAKARTA - The candidate for governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung, admitted that he was grateful that his resignation from the position of Cabinet Secretary was accepted by President Joko Widodo. Jokowi today officially dismissed Pramono and replaced him with an executor of (plt).

"I thank the President. He has been entrusted with two terms to become Cabinet Secretary," said Pramono at Simpang Semanggi, Central Jakarta, Thursday, September 19.

Pramono was appointed as Seskab in 2015 in the Jokowi-Jusuf Kalla administration. Then, in 2019, Jokowi again appointed him as Seskab until finally Pramono resigned because he participated in the 2024 Pilkada contestation.

"I am really very grateful because it is so difficult to maintain the president's kitchen. But thank God, I feel like to this day I have shown good performance by the president," explained Pramono.

After registering as a candidate for governor, Pramono has indeed planned to resign. However, the former Secretary General of the PDIP still has to complete the task of Jokowi who cannot be left behind.

Therefore, after Jokowi signed his letter of dismissal as Seskab, Pramono claimed to focus on running a campaign with the prospective Deputy Governor Rano Karno.

"I can now work fully, or have full time to do socialization together with Bang Doel," he said.

President Joko Widodo signed a Presidential Decree (Keppres) regarding the Dismissal of Pramono Anung from his current position as Cabinet Secretary.

"Today, Thursday, September 19, 2024, the President has signed Presidential Decree No. 105 P concerning the Dismissal with Respect for Mr. Pramono Anung Wibowo as Cabinet Secretary, starting on September 22, 2024, accompanied by thanks for his dedication and services during his tenure as Cabinet Secretary," said Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana.

Ari explained that in the Presidential Decree, President Jokowi also appointed Minister of State Secretary Pratikno as Acting Cabinet Secretary.

"In the Presidential Decree, Mr. Pratikno, the Minister of State Secretary, is also appointed as the executor of the duties, authorities and responsibilities of the Cabinet Secretary until the definitive Seskab is determined," said Ari.
