The Palace Calls Kaesang Flying From IKN To Jakarta For The Sake Of Traveling A Friend's Private Jet

JAKARTA - Head of the Presidential Communication Office Hasan Nasbi denied the lifestyle of PSI General Chair and the youngest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) Kaesang Pangarep who was luxurious and received private jet facilities.

In a video uploaded on the X account, Hasan explained that Kaesang and his wife, Erina Gudono, used commercial aircraft in economic class after attending the Proclamation Seconds Commemoration Ceremony at IKN on August 17.

"Mas Kaesang flew to Jakarta from there (IKN) flying to Jakarta because on the 18th (August) he wanted to go to America, he wanted to take a friend plane to America [US)] yes, Mas Kaesang took an economic class plane," Hasan Nasbi said in the podcast video, which was confiscated by Antara.

Hasan said that on the economic plane that Kaesang was traveling in, there were business classes occupied by ministers, one of which was Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan, as well as the head of government institutions/body and the President Director of LPP TVRI Iman Brotoseno.

He said that Iman Brotoseno had time to go back and forth to economic class to ask and offer Kaesang a seat.

"He offered his seat because he didn't feel good about Kaesang behind the economy class while there was a minister, there was a TVRI Director, there was a head of the agency or in business class, Mas Kaesang went up economically," he said.

According to Hasan, if Kaesang had a luxurious lifestyle, he would not use commercial aircraft and sit in economic class.

Kaesang, said Hasan, could ask someone to pick him up using a private jet from IKN to Jakarta, before flying to the US on August 18, 2024.

On the previous occasion, Kaesang had also used a Citilink commercial plane from Medan to Jakarta. Hasan also invited the public to open a passenger list manifest to ensure that Kaesang also uses commercial aircraft on August 14, 2024 from Medan to Jakarta.

Meanwhile, when he went to the US on August 18, 2024 with Erina, Hasan said that Kaesang boarded a private jet belonging to his friend and had stopped to several cities, because he followed the schedule of Kaesang's friend who owned the jet.

"Because Mas Kaesang plans to go to America on August 20, but because a friend wants to leave on August 18 (August), this friend offers that he will go up on August 18th. This means that this friend is not the one who adjusted the schedule for Kaesang, but Kaesang has adjusted the schedule for this friend," Hasan said.

Previously, Kaesang Pangarep and his wife, Erina Gudono, received a lot of attention on social media, one of which was regarding the use of private jets when traveling to the United States.

The alleged gratification was discussed by netizens, such as on social media X, after Kaesang's wife, Erina Gudono, uploaded views from inside a private jet via Instagram social media.
