Victims Of Bullying At Binus Simprug High School Experience Bruises, Teeth Almost Removed

South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Ade Rahmat Idnal explained that RE (16), a victim of bullying at Binus Simprug High School, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, suffered injuries to the mouth and teeth.

"We have done a post-mortem (to the complainant) and found that the left cheek had bruises covering an area of 3 cm, felt lumps and pain in the head," said Ade Rahmat in his statement, Wednesday, September 18.

Ade also said that his party had collected evidence by examining witnesses, visum et repertum, doctor statements from hospitals and videos of students in toilets.

Ade Rahmat denied that his party had not followed up on the case. Since this case was reported by the victim's father, Sudiarmon, South Jakarta Metro Police immediately followed up.

According to Ade, his party has several diversions, but the results obtained did not find a bright spot.

"We have tried to do a special diversion or deliberation for children. The parties have met, but there is no common ground," he said.

To note, the case of bullying at the Binus Simprug High School has upgraded to an investigation status from the previous investigation.

Regarding the information that there are several reported parties who have parents from among the government, and party members, Ade Rahmat admitted that he had not met him.

"Some information was conveyed which was said to be a party child, a party leader's son or something else. We certainly based on existing law, population data, we have checked the KK (family card) until now we do not know what it is meant," said Ade.
