List 38 Regions In 7 Provinces In The Category Of Lack Of Extreme Rain, East Sumba At The Longest

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) noted that 64% of Indonesia's season zone numbers have entered the dry season, while the rest are in the rainy season. In addition, 38 regions in seven provinces have experienced no more than 2 months of rain.

Quoted from BMKG, Wednesday, September 18, the areas currently experiencing the dry season are a small part of North Sumatra, Aceh, West Sumatra, Riau, Riau Islands, North Kalimantan, Southeast Sulawesi, Papua, and West Papua.

Furthermore, most of Jambi, Bengkulu, South Sumatra, Bangka Belitung, Lampung, Java, South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Gorontalo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

The dry season also occurs in parts of East Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Maluku and North Maluku.

A number of areas that fall into the category of lack of extreme rain are as follows:

1. NTT: East Sumba (141 days), Kupang City (144 days), Sabu Raijua (128 days), Lembata (97 days), Kupang (116 days), South Central Timor (97 days), Rote Ndao (70 days), Sikka (72 days), Southwest Sumba (69 days), Ende (69 days). 2. East Java: Jember (139 days), Pasuruan (138 days), Probolinggo City (139 days), Situbondo (138 days), Blitar (137 days), Banyuwangi (137 days), Mojokerto (137 days), Bangkalan (135 days), Tulungagung (137 days), Malang (108 days).3. NTB: Bima (137 days), East Lombok (94 days).4. South Sulawesi: Barru (68 days), Takalar (68 days), Pangkep (68 days), Makassar (68 days).5. DIY: Gunung Kidul (67 days), Bantul (68 days).6. West Java: Cirebon (65 days), Ciamis (66 days), Indramayu (65 days), Majalengka (65 days), Karawang (65 days), Purwakarta (65 days), Sumedang (65 days), Subang (65 days), Bekasi (65 days).7. Banten: Pandeglang (66 days).
