Police Arrest Husband Of Wife Abuser In Bandung To Death, The Motive Is Suspicious Of Cheating

BANDUNG - The Bandung City Police (Polrestabes) arrested a husband with the initials DJ who abused his wife by being stabbed until he was found dead at his residence on Jalan Ciwastra, Bandung City on Wednesday (11/9).

Bandung Police Chief Kombes Budi Sartono said the DJ perpetrator who worked as a city transportation driver (angkot) was arrested at Cibangkong Beach, Garut Regency.

"Alhamdulillah, on Monday, September 16 at 09.00 WIB, the suspect was arrested at Cibangkong Beach, Sancang Cibalong Village, Garut Regency," Budi said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 17.

After the persecution incident occurred, the perpetrator fled. Buahbatu Police officers conducted a crime scene (TKP) with the assistance of the Bandung Police Inafis team to examine a number of witnesses and pursue the perpetrators.

"The suspect, the DJ who was the perpetrator of the murder, who was the husband of the victim, was then pursued because at that time the suspect had committed suicide," he said.

Budi said the motive for the perpetrator's temporary abuse that led to the death of his wife was because he suspected that the victim had cheated.

Furthermore, he said, there was an argument between the suspect and the victim. However, his party is still investigating other motives so that the perpetrators are desperate to commit their heinous acts.

"The motive is suspected to be jealousy because the perpetrator suspects the victim, there is an alleged cheating, but once again this is still a statement from the suspect, we are still investigating it again," said Budi.
