Four Students Bring 2 Molotov Bombs And 8 Sharp Weapons

JAKARTA - The Precision Pioneer Patrol Team (TP3) of the East Jakarta Metro Police arrested four teenagers involved in a brawl accompanied by the use of sharp weapons on Jalan Raya Bogor, Ciracas, Tuesday morning, September 17.

"Four teenagers were arrested, along with eight sharp weapons and two Molotov cocktails, cell phones and motorbikes," said Head of the Samapta Unit (Kasat) of the East Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Hendra, Tuesday, September 17.

The four perpetrators arrested were DFS (18), HNF (18), KVS (20) and IH. They were then taken to the Ciracas Police for further investigation.

"For the four teenagers involved in the brawl, further examinations are being carried out and urine tests are being carried out at the Ciracas Police Headquarters," said Hendra.

The arrests of the four perpetrators were carried out when the East Jakarta Metro Police TP3 (Jaktim) conducted a sweep regarding reports regarding brawls from the local community.

Police officers will continue to patrol vulnerable areas to prevent security disturbances, especially in brawls that are very disturbing to the public.

Hendra hopes that the role of parents in supervising and protecting their children from being involved in promiscuity, especially brawls.

"Parents must play an active role in supervising their children. Let's both prevent acts of thuggery or brawls in our environment," he said.

He also hopes for the role of the entire community to keep the situation maintained, safe and peaceful.
