Residents Panic, Fire In West Pejaten Turns Out To Be Just Burning Garbage

JAKARTA - The South Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) confirmed that the flames at the animal shelter (shelter) on Jalan Pejaten Barat Raya, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, only destroyed garbage.

"Those who are burned by garbage are safe and not dangerous," said Head of South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Syamsul Huda, Monday night, September 16.

Huda said his party arrived at the location of the fire at 20.37 WIB. The team immediately started the blackout at around 20.40 WIB until 21.00 WIB.

Four units of officers and supporters were deployed in the process of extinguishing the red rooster.

"The blackout situation is complete," he said.

Until now there has been no latest information regarding the area to the estimated losses from the fire.

However, the animals in the shelter are guaranteed safety.

Information on the fire at Pejaten Shelter was also shared through a video upload on the Instagram account @pejaTENshelter on Monday night. In the upload, three men were trying to help extinguish the blaze with a water hose.

The flames seemed to soar high in an area separated from the shelter area. There were sways of dogs from shelters lying in the forest as they walked here and there.

The tawair in the post reads "Neighbors of the fire" to report that the fire did not occur in the shelter area but next to the shelter area.
