JAKARTA - The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) has used the mapping of disaster forensics as an important way to get an idea of when disasters will occur in an area, including earthquakes and tsunamis.

In earthquake and tsunami forensic mappings, for example, involving many experts such as geologists, hydrology, chemistry, oceanology, geodesics, spatial, sociology, DVI, and land science.
According to him, the more experts involved, the more relevant evidence that can be examined and the results will be better informative.
Because you have to be able to see the relevant evidence, he said, this disaster forensic mapping was carried out at the time of the incident and the research time was quite long.
"Experts need to examine samples of marine sediments that are carried ashore because of the tsunami to be measured, then calculated with carbon chemical technology for example. That's what causes us to reconstruct an incident well. God knows his knowledge through an incident," said the seismologist who graduated from the University of Tokyo, Japan.
