Entering The Laundry Kiosk In Cakung, The Man With The Motorbike Steals 2 Cellphones

JAKARTA - A man riding a motorbike was caught on CCTV cameras entering a laundry stall, laundry on Jalan Al Kautsar 1, Rawa Badung Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta.

Judging from the CCTV footage, the man stole 2 units of cellphones belonging to a laundry worker that were placed on the table. After getting 2 cell phones, the perpetrator fled with his motorbike.

According to S, the victim who is also a laundry worker said that the theft occurred when his stall was quiet, and the victim was washing clothes.

"Just left, a few minutes later the cellphone was gone. The process took about 2 minutes," S told reporters, Monday, November 18.

"The perpetrator had time to look around, the perpetrator was wearing a mask. I hope that if the perpetrator is immediately arrested to be deterred, I will be hurt (the cellphone) was taken," he said.

The victim admitted that he had not reported the incident to the Cakung Police.

"The police haven't reported it yet, because it had gone viral, if you report it, the police haven't," he said.

S admitted that the area where he works is an area prone to theft.

"Here the area is vulnerable, not just cellphones, even motorbikes are often lost. This incident is for my lessons," he said.
