Check 20 Witnesses, Prosecutor's Office Targets 2 Corruption Cases In East Lombok NTB

MATARAM - The East Lombok District Attorney's Office (Kejari), West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) is targeting two major cases related to the alleged corruption in the Labuhan Haji pier rehabilitation project and the alleged corruption in the construction of bore wells in the Suela District area.

"Currently we are investigating allegations of corruption against two major cases that occurred in East Lombok," said Head of the Special Crimes Section (Pidsus) of the East Lombok Kejari Ida Bagus Swadharma who was accompanied by Head of Intelligence I Putu Bayu Pinarta, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, September 13.

He said that both cases, because they had gone up to the investigation level, his party would soon conduct an audit of the calculation of state losses (PKN).

"For the PKN audit, we will immediately do it," he said.

He said that for the alleged corruption case in the rehabilitation of Labuhan Haji Pier, it is currently in the process of physical checks. In fact, his party has also summoned and examined approximately 20 witnesses.

"Witnesses such as PPK, planners, Budget User Authority (KUA) and contractors and those who have involvement in the case," he said.

As for the alleged corruption case of bore wells, according to him, it is in the process of calculating the Mataram State University (Unram), including physical examinations and witnesses.

"The case of the drilling well is in progress. After the calculation and results of state losses are carried out, the suspect will be determined," he said.
