Jokowi's Message To The Minister Of KIB: Complete The Work Program Before The Government Ends

NUSANTARA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) asked his staff, both ministers and heads of institutions, to immediately complete the main work programs ahead of the end of the government period on October 20, 2024.

"Immediately complete this last month the main work program that has started, both related to absorption, related to accountability administration and unresolved obstacles," he said while delivering directions at the plenary cabinet meeting at the Garuda Palace, the capital city of the archipelago (IKN), East Kalimantan (Kaltim), Friday, September 13.

Jokowi also asked to maintain stability so that development sustainability continues.

"Maintaining a conducive situation, we need stability to continue to grow. We need stability to carry out development so that we make sure there are no ripples of turmoil until the next government is formed," he said.

In addition, Jokowi asked ministers and heads of institutions to maintain people's purchasing power, growth, and maintain security and order.

In addition, he also emphasized to all his staff not to make extreme policies, especially those related to the lives of many people.

"This means that we must be able to maintain people's purchasing power, inflation, growth, security, order, and not make extreme policies, especially those related to the lives of many people, which have the potential to harm the wider community, which has the potential to cause turmoil," he explained.

For information, Jokowi held a plenary cabinet session for the second time at the Garuda IKN Palace, Friday.

"The plenary cabinet session will be attended by the vice president and all cabinet ministers," said Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana.

On the second day at IKN, he said, Jokowi will chair the plenary cabinet session at the Garuda IKN Palace on Friday at 09.00 WITA.

Yusuf said Vice President Ma'ruf Amin until the minister began arriving on Thursday (12/9/2024) night in East Kalimantan to attend the plenary cabinet meeting, Friday (13/9/2024).

After the plenary cabinet meeting, Jokowi is scheduled to inaugurate the Nusantara Swissotel Hotel and the groundbreaking of the Duty Free Nusantara Mall at IKN.
