Foundation Managers Can't Intermediate Bodies Due To Stolen Ambulance Cars

For more than two weeks, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Duren Sawit Police has not arrested the perpetrator of the theft of an ambulance with police number B 2007 PFG belonging to the Al Kusuf Grand Mosque in Duren Sawit. Even though the identity of the perpetrator is known to the Duren Sawit Police investigators.

Chairman of the Al Kusuf Duren Sawit Grand Mosque Foundation, Remolda, said that his party hopes that the Duren Sawit Police can immediately arrest the perpetrator of the theft of an ambulance by one of the corpse delivery officers with the initials YA (38).

"To the Duren Sawit Police, I hope this search can provide good results for us, and help us. So that the ambulance can return," said Remolda when met by VOI at the scene, Thursday, September 12.

The ambulance, he continued, is very much needed by the community in providing corpse delivery services around the Duren oil palm area, especially the Al Kusuf Mosque.

"We provide free services to poor people, to the members in the Al Kusuf Mosque," he said.

As a result of the perpetrator's actions with the initials YA (38), the service between bodies for the Duren Sawit community became disrupted due to the disappearance of the ambulance.

"The incident occurred on Thursday, August 22, 2024. We will report it on August 27, 2024. So far, the Duren Sawit Police are being processed," he said.

Please note, the existence of the ambulance has been in the mosque since 2022. Meanwhile, the perpetrator YA has been working as a mosque marbot since 2018.

In addition to working as a marbot, the perpetrator with the initials YA also received free housing facilities from the administrators of the mosque foundation.

"He is even the person we trust in providing services to the congregation," he said.

Duren Sawit Police Chief AKP Sutikno said that his party had received the incident report. According to him, the case is still under investigation.

"The report has been received, it is still under maximum investigation," he said.
