Broken Tires, Boks At JLNT Pesing Hit Honda CBR Drivers

JAKARTA - Deni Kurniawan (26), a Honda CBR motorcycle rider with the number BE 4643 KT, became a victim of a series of accidents on the Pesing Non-Toll Flyover (JLNT), Daan Mogot, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, Thursday, September 12.

The motorcyclist from North Lampung suffered injuries to his hands and chest as a result of being hit by a Daihatsu box car with number B 9372 FXT driven by the perpetrator named Bima Adi Saputra (22) from Cibitung, Bekasi Regency.

Victim Deni Kurniawan was rushed to Hermina Daan Mogot Hospital for intensive care.

Head of Traffic Unit of West Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Joko Siswanto, said the accident occurred at around 05.30 WIB. In addition to hitting a Honda CBR motorcyclist, the driver of the box car also hit 3 other motorcyclists.

The other three victims were identified as Jainudin, a Honda B 5392 FSN motorcyclist, Diwan Atmo, a Honda motorcycle rider with number B 6676 GSG and Deni Thifal, a Honda Supra driver with number B 6166 PIJ.

"The incident began when the van suffered a broken right tire," said AKP Joko Siswanto when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, September 12.

Then the car swerved to the right and hit the busway separator. The car bounced to the right then the Honda CBR motorcyclist driven by Deni and three other riders were also hit.

"The Honda CBR driver with the initials DK suffered injuries to his hands and chest with bruises. The vehicle that had an accident suffered severe damage," he said.

Meanwhile, the vehicle involved in the accident was secured to the West Jakarta Traffic Unit as evidence. The case is still being handled by the West Jakarta Traffic Unit.
