Responding To The News Of Being A Wantimpres Prabowo, Jokowi: I Want To Go Home To Solo

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) answered about his opportunity to be part of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) during the elected Presidential administration, Prabowo Subianto.

Jokowi emphasized that after retirement he would return to his hometown in Solo.

"I want to go back to Solo. On October 20, I will return to Solo," said Jokowi briefly after giving a briefing to TNI/Polri officials at the State Palace of the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN), East Kalimantan (Kaltim), Thursday, September 12, was confiscated by Antara.

Previously, the Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi said that President Joko Widodo was very worthy of joining the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres).

According to Budi Arie, President Joko Widodo is still too young to retire from public office.

In a briefing to TNI/Polri officials at the IKN State Palace, Thursday, the President emphasized two important things, namely related to security stability ahead of the inauguration of the elected presidential and vice presidential candidates as well as during the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada.

"I said earlier to maintain political, social stability, so that everything will run well, smoothly, safely. I think the pressure was on the two things," said Jokowi.
