TANGERANG - The District Attorney (Kejari) of Tangerang Regency, Banten, carried out the execution of the detention of a foreign national (WNA) from South Korea (South Korea), Lee Soo Hyun.

He has the status of a convict in a case of embezzlement of funds amounting to Rp26 billion belonging to PT Indoplas.

Head of the Tangerang District Attorney's Office Ricky Tommy Hasiholan said the detention of foreign nationals was in accordance with the court's decision.

In the pick-up effort, his party ensured that the prosecutor's office had explained to the convict the implementation of the cassation decision ordering the prosecutor to make arrests.

However, the convict, in this case Lee Soo, had experienced obstacles. Officers have called three times properly, but the person concerned was never present for no apparent reason.

"After monitoring, we found Lee Soo Hyun at Mayapada Hospital, Tangerang. After being declared healthy, we immediately carried out the execution," he explained in Tangerang, Antara, Thursday, September 12.

After several attempts to summon him, finally on Friday (6/9), the prosecutor's team picked him up at Mayapada Hospital, Tangerang.

"During the execution of the atmosphere at the hospital, it was observed that it was calm until the team of public prosecutors (JPU) took Lee Soo Hyun to the Tangerang Class 1 Detention Center," he said.

In the court's decision, the judge stated that Lee Soo was found guilty of fraud and embezzlement in accordance with Article 374 of the Criminal Code with a sentence of 2 years and 6 months in prison.
