Case Of 4 Couriers Of 40 Kg Of Sabu Aceh Transferred To The Cilegon Kejari

BANTEN - The Cilegon District Attorney's Office (Kejari) in Banten, received the delegation of four suspected methamphetamine couriers with the mode of sending commodity goods.

In addition to the four suspects with the initials M, I, CS, and AW, the delegation to the Deputy Team for the Eradication of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) RI, including evidence of 20,792.7 grams of crystal methamphetamine. The delegation was carried out on Wednesday 11 September.

"Four suspects were then detained by the public prosecutor from September 11 to October 1, 2024 at the Class II A Cilegon Prison," said Head of the Intelligence Section of the Cilegon District Attorney's Office Nasruddin, confirmed on Thursday, September 12, which was confiscated by Antara.

The disclosure of this case occurred on May 10, 2024 at noon when a team from the Deputy for Eradication of BNN RI received information that a yellow truck departed from Bireuen, Aceh, to Jakarta carrying methamphetamine with piled up coconut and fruit commodity goods.

Furthermore, the Indonesian BNN Eradication Deputy team followed up on information with an investigation around the Sumatra highway, Palembang-Lampung, on May 13, 2024.

Then the truck got out of the ferry at around 23.00 WIB in the KM 19 National Road area, Taman Sari Village, Pulo Merak District, Cilegon City, Banten Province.

"During a search assisted by sniffer dogs (K-9), two white sacks were found in which 20 packages of methamphetamine were found with Guanyinwang yellow plastic weighing approximately 20,792.7 grams," he said.

Nasruddin said that when testing was carried out, it was true that the evidence contained methamphetamine.

The evidence has been destroyed by being set aside for laboratory purposes of 20,771.7 grams, based on the order to destroy evidence number: Sp.Musnah/03-NAR/VI/2024/BNN dated June 24, 2024.

The suspects are threatened with criminal charges in Article 114 Paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics or Article 112 in conjunction with Article 132 Paragraph (1) of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
