PKB Calls Cak Imin Invited By Prabowo To Discuss Cabinet Flats, Participate In Ministerial Regulations?

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DPP National Awakening Party (PKB) Syaiful Huda revealed that President-elect Prabowo Subianto had invited PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar or familiarly called Cak Imin to discuss the composition of the cabinet for the next five years.

However, Syaiful Huda was reluctant to divulge details regarding the quota of the PKB minister in the upcoming Prabowo-Gibran cabinet.

"Discussions have been carried out, and there are offers being discussed. However, for further details, we cannot reveal them yet," said Syaiful at the DPR Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 11.

Syaiful added that PKB had not received complete information regarding the number of nomenclatures which reached 40 ministries.

Currently, the process of discussing the ministry structure, including the number of coordinating ministers (menko) and technical ministries, is still ongoing.

"There is no certainty regarding the nomenclature, whether there are 44 ministries or how many coordinating ministers and technical ministries. We have not received a complete leak regarding this matter," he said.

Syaiful also emphasized that Prabowo Subianto hopes that a new cabinet can be formed before the inauguration on October 20, 2024.

"PKB is ready to communicate further regarding the posts that will be filled in the cabinet. We are sure that Prabowo wants to ensure that all nomenclatures and positions of the ministry have been determined before October 20," he said.
