Police Disband Youth Groups Fighting At TPU Malacca

JAKARTA - Several teenagers were in a duel for pencak silat's martial arts at the Malacca 1 public cemetery (TPU), Pondok Kopi, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, and was dispersed by the East Jakarta Metro Police Pioneer Patrol Team.

The teenagers were disbanded in anticipation of a brawl between groups of teenagers. However, the police did not provide security for the pesilat teenager.

"We are to anticipate delinquency from school children and anticipate brawls, so we urge them to return to their respective homes," said East Jakarta Metro Police Pioneer Patrol Team member Bripka Markon Samuel to reporters at the location, Wednesday, September 11.

The teenagers were disbanded because they were found to be gathered and met another colleague. The police are worried that it can cause a negative reaction, so they order to return to their respective homes to prevent a brawl.

"Therefore, we warn them not to gather together and return to their respective homes," he said.

The police also did not secure the teenagers because no sharp weapons and other prohibited items were found.
