JAKARTA - Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives held a closed working meeting (raker) with the Ministry of Defense (Kemhan) and the TNI three dimensions to discuss the adjustment of the TNI Ministry/Institutional Budget and Work Plan (RKA-KL) for Fiscal Year 2025.

"I have permission to open this meeting with closed properties and this meeting will actually take a while because I only continued the discussion that was carried out last week, namely regarding the adjustment (adjustment) carried out by the Budget Agency, that's all that was reported. So hopefully it won't take long," said Chairman of Commission I DPR RI Meutya Hafid when opening a meeting at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 11, confiscated by Antara.

He explained that the meeting was held behind closed doors because it involved technical details of the figures in the 2025 TNI budget preparation.

At the beginning, he conveyed that TNI Commander General Agus Subianto was unable to attend the meeting because he attended the inauguration ceremony of the Minister of Social Affairs and a number of leaders of state institutions at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 11.

"The Commander in Chief attended the inauguration, will try to come here later," he said.

The TNI Commander, he continued, was then represented by the Chief of General Staff (Kasum) of the TNI Lt. Gen. Richard Taruli Horja Tampubolon at the meeting.

He then also greeted the Deputy Minister of Defense (Wamenhan) Muhammad Herindra who was present representing the Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto.

Furthermore, he greeted the leaders of the TNI dimension who were present at the meeting, namely the Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak, and the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Air Force (KSAU) Marshal Tonny Harjono.

While greeting the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Navy (KSAL) Admiral Muhammad Ali, he also congratulated the 79th Anniversary of the Indonesian Navy which was commemorated on Tuesday 10 September.

"We also congratulate the Indonesian Navy. We apologize for not being able to attend yesterday because we have pursued the budget cycle in recent days," said Meutya.
