Witness Alleged Corruption Procurement Of PPE Of The Ministry Of Health Mangkir From KPK Calls

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) canceled examining two witnesses in the corruption case in the procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) at the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) on Monday, September 9. One of them, namely Mikail Jam'an, who is an accountant, is absent from the investigator's summons.

"Witness MJ as the accountant did not attend without information," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, September 11.

Meanwhile, another witness, namely the former Sesditjen Farmalkes Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) RI Arianti Anaya, asked for a reschedule. Tessa said these two witnesses should have been questioned at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"Witness AA as the former Secretary General of the Ministry of Health of the Ministry of Health asked for a reschedule on September 12," he said.

The anti-corruption commission asked them to fulfill the summons. Information between the two is needed to make clear the cases being handled.

Previously reported, the KPK named three suspects in the corruption case in the procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) at the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes). The investigation has been carried out since September 2023.

The amount of state losses in this case reached Rp300 billion with a project value of Rp3.03 trillion for the procurement of 5 million PPE packages.

A total of eight people have been prevented from leaving the country. They are Budi Badhi as the state civil apparatus (ASN) at the Ministry of Health, Hermansyah who is an ASN from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), Satrio Wibowo and Ahmad Taufik as private sector, and A. Isdar Yusuf as advocates.

Furthermore, last June also prevented SLN, which is a doctor and two private parties, namely ET and AM.
