Community Leaders Ask Police To Set Said Didu's Legal Status Regarding The ITE Law

TANGERANG - A number of youth leaders asked the police to determine the legal status of Said Didu, the Secretary of BUMN for the 2005-2010 period, who was reported to the Tangerang Police with the number: 361/VII/YAN. 2.4.1/2024/SPKT on Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE).

"We heard that our report has entered the investigation stage, we hope that the police will immediately establish an elementary school as a suspect so that it can no longer incite residents," said Herwin, one of the youth figures in Kosambi District, in a written statement.

Herwin assessed that what SD did could disrupt regional conduciveness and was considered to be able to interfere with the development process which is currently being carried out in the Tangerang Regency area, especially in the Pantura area.

"We have been expecting our region to progress and develop for a long time. We don't want SD (Said Didu) incitement to disrupt conduciveness in the community which has resulted in disruption of the development process," said Herwin.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Tangerang Regency Apdesi, Maskota admitted that he had heard a lot of complaints from the public and youth leaders regarding the provocation carried out by Said Didu on social media. For this reason, he and the Village Heads in Tangerang Regency hope that the police will handle this case firmly and as soon as possible.

Maskota admitted that he questioned Said Didu's motive for making the video. Because so far he has not heard any complaints from residents, he actually feels happy with the development carried out by investors.

"I want to ask Said Didu. If he is talking about fighting for the residents, try to mention which residents," said Maskota.

According to the Maskota, the residents of Pantura have long hoped that their territory will progress and develop. Because development has been stagnant in the Pantura area for decades due to the lack of investors willing to enter. And now that after there are investors who want and dare to invest in building the area, Said Didu tries to obstruct and incite residents.

"Don't admit to fighting for the residents, what was Said Didu's contribution to us residents of Pantura, Tangerang Regency," he concluded.

Meanwhile, the Head of Kampung Melayu Barat Village (KMB) Teluknaga District, Tangerang Regency, Subur Maryono, admitted that the existence of investors in the Pantura area through his mega project PIK 2 greatly helped the progress of his area.

According to Subur, apart from being able to absorb a lot of labor, the areas that are being developed, including in the region, have been showered with various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.

"Thank God, with the existence of investors, to carry out regional development, it does not only rely on funds from the government. But we can also get assistance from the private sector through the program," he said.
