Supporters Of The Indonesian National Team Claim To Be Fooled On Facebook Through Haryo Kusumo Adji's Account

JAKARTA - A number of supporters of the Indonesian national team were deceived by ticket brokers on Facebook social media so they had to give up not being able to enter the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK), Senayan, Central Jakarta.

"I have transferred to the perpetrators Rp600 thousand," said Ardiansyah, quoting Antara, Tuesday, September 10.

Ardiansyah (26) said he was looking for information through a Facebook group account called "Info Tiket Timnas Indonesia (Ultras Garuda)" which contains more than 5,000 members.

Then, he was offered by a Facebook account on behalf of Haryo Kusumo Adji who sold tickets for IDR 300 thousand per unit.

Ardi, who was interested in Haryo's offer and immediately bought two tickets which were planned to invite his lover named Nuryati (25) on D day of the Indonesian national team match against Australia.

He said the perpetrator promised to send the ticket immediately if the victim had paid.

However, when he and his girlfriend came to the location around 17.00 WIB, they waited an hour after that the ticket had not been sent.

"I've chatted many times, my number didn't block but I didn't reply," he said.

He and his lover who were compact wearing a red t-shirt bearing the Garuda symbol said they had given up money which was the result of their hard work so far.

Not only money, but he also took time, sweat and energy from Ragunan, South Jakarta, by TransJakarta to GBK.

Ardiansyah and Nuryati could only sit on the bench around GBK waiting for the atmosphere to be quiet so they could return home.

They admitted that they did not plan to report to the police. However, they still hope for a conscience from the perpetrators.

The Indonesian national team played the second match of Group C of the 2026 World Cup Qualification in the Asian zone for the third round against the Australian national team at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, Tuesday at 19.00 WIB.
