Gibran Admits There Is A Surakarta City Government Agreement With Shopee

JAKARTA - The elected Vice President (Vice President) Gibran Rakabuming Raka ensured that the agreement between Shopee and the company was professional.

Gibran said there was no agreement regarding jet ownership.

"Nothing like that, nonsense," he said when met in Solo, Central Java, Tuesday, September 10, was confiscated by Antara.

According to him, the agreement involving Shopee is a professional agreement that also involves the Surakarta City Government and Solo Technopark (STP).

"The MOU (commissioned memorandum of agreement) is professional between the Municipal Government of Surakarta, Technopark, and Shopee. Nothing like that, we are professionals," he said.

Meanwhile, Shopee currently has an office at STP in the form of a Shopee Creative & Innovation Hub. This office facilitates the younger generation in Central Java to network and exchange ideas to create innovations that will encourage economic recovery.

Previously, related to Gibran's arrival in Solo because he wanted to visit residents.

On that occasion he visited several houses in Sondakan Village and Jajar Village, Laweyan District, Solo.

He also took the time to return to his residence in the Banjarsari area. When asked about his return to Solo, he admitted that there were no special events.

"Clean the house, there is no special agenda," he said.
