JAKARTA - The 2026 World Cup qualifying match for the Asian zone for the third round between the Indonesian vs Australia national team will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Senayan, Central Jakarta on Tuesday, September 10 tonight.

The police appealed to road users to avoid walking around Gelora Bung Karno from the afternoon until tonight.

This is because the area is certain to be crowded with Indonesian supporters who will come to watch the match at the GBK Stadium. The kickoff of the match will be held at 19.00 WIB.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said that his party had prepared traffic engineering around SUGBK. However, the implementation of traffic engineering will be adjusted to the situation on the ground.

"Traffic engineering may be carried out situationally, so people who have no interest around SUGBK should look for alternative routes," said Ade Ary.

Polda Metro Jaya will deploy 2,335 joint personnel to maintain the security of tonight's match. Thousands of these personnel consist of a combination of police officers, TNI, and Satpol PP.

"We hope that the event will run safely and we ask for cooperation from the whole community," said Ade Ary.

Furthermore, he appealed to supporters to remain orderly. He also reminded officers to conduct an examination of the supporters' luggage.
