Presidium For The Rescue Of The Organization And MLB NU Asks The Ministry Of Law And Human Rights To Freeze The Decree Of The PBNU Management

The Presidium for the Rescue of the Organization and the Extraordinary Nahdlatul Ulama Congress will ask the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to freeze the decree (SK) of the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU).

This is based on the results of the deepening of the national consolidation of the NU MLB Presidium in Cirebon, West Java, on September 8-9.

Secretary of OC Pra and MLB NU Fahmi Baysa said that his party would visit the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to request a suspension of the PBNU decree because it was considered a violation.

"Presidium asks the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, cq Directorate General of General Administration, to freeze the Decree on the Ratification of Amendments to the AD-ART and Management of PBNU as recorded in AHU-000-1097.AH.01.08.2024, citing serious violations by PBNU," Fahmi said in his statement, Monday, September 9.

Fahmi explained that the plan to request for the suspension of the PBNU SK was motivated by the results of the complaint which was accommodated by Presidium some time ago.

In the opening of the hotline service, Presidium has received hundreds of complaints, opinions, criticisms and suggestions for alleged violations committed by PBNU.

"Hotline still receives complaints, opinions, criticisms and suggestions from NU structural and Cultural, until the time limit is held by NU MLB," explained Fahmi.

Meanwhile, the complaint recorded by the presidium contains four things. Among them, PBNU is considered to have violated the NU constitution, PBNU intervenes in the DPR's Hajj Special Committee.

In addition, PBNU is considered to have changed Jam'iyyah's face, including being a corporation in the mining extraction industry, and PBNU is said to have damaged the unity and integrity of Jam'iyyah and NU pilgrims through governance, work procedures, performance and leadership performance of PBNU.

"Presidium will hold a Pre MLB at the end of September or early October 2024 4 by inviting PWNU throughout Indonesia and or representing it," said Fahmi.

The committee structures of the Pre and MLB NU are Imam Jazuli as Chair of the Steering Committee (SC), Abdussalam Shohib and Aguk Irawan as SC Secretary, Imam Baehaqi as Chairman of the Organizing Committee (OC), Wahono as Deputy Chair of the OC, Fahmi Basya Secretary of the OC, and Nashruddin as Treasurer of the OC.
