A Gang Of Thugs Who Persecuted And Destroyed Sigra Cars In Cideng Is Being Hunted By The Police

The Gambir Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit is hunting for the perpetrators of the persecution and vandalism of the silver Daihatsu Sigra car that occurred on Jalan Suryopranoto, Cideng Village, Gambir District, Central Jakarta.

"The victim has made a police report (LP), the incident on Sunday, September 8, at 3 am. We are investigating the perpetrator," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Gambir Metro Police, AKP Ganang Agung when confirmed by VOI, Monday, September 9.

Meanwhile, the Gambir Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit has examined witnesses related to the incident. The characteristics of the perpetrators have also been pocketed by the police.

"Ada dua saksi sudah diperiksa. Korban juga sudah dilakukan visum atas luka yang ditemukannya," ujarnya.

Meanwhile, the motive for the persecution and destruction of cars occurred because of the accident at the scene. Even so, the police are still investigating.

"Initially it was accident," he said.

Previously, it was reported that thuggery took place again in the Gambir area, Central Jakarta. A group of motorized men ganged up on a silver Daihatsu Sigra car driver because a vehicle had hit Jalan Suryopranoto, Cideng Village, Gambir District, Central Jakarta.

The incident was recorded by the residents' amateur cameras. In the video footage circulating, there was a tense situation when there was a beating on the streets. Moreover, the incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, September 8, at around 02.45 WIB.

The incident was also uploaded to an Instagram social media account. In the upload contains a caption that the husband of a woman with the initials I became a victim of car beatings and vandalism.

"My husband was surrounded by Ambon people on Jl. Suryopranoto, Cideng, Central Jakarta. Beaten and damaged cars. There were about 10 perpetrators and their husbands had videos (faces of the perpetrators)," wrote the caption as quoted by VOI, Monday, September 9.
