JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) met Central Java Governor Candidate Ahmad Luthfi at Soto SSB Hesti Widodo, Boyolali, Saturday 7 September 2024. On that occasion, Jokowi admitted to entrusting several messages to Luthfi who participated in the 2024 Central Java Pilkada contestation.

In his conversation, Luthfi admitted that he had just arrived and immediately ate what he called a regular restaurant.

"We just landed, this is our subscription," said Luthi.

"As a candidate for governor of Central Java, I pray. I entrust it to farmers, leave it to fishermen, also leave it to students and young people. Give support," Jokowi asked.

Hearing the directive, Luthfi admitted that he would carry out the message.

After that, the two separated and before Jokowi left the restaurant. Jan Ethes' grandson had time to capture a photo with Luthfi.

Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi is a high-ranking National Police officer (Pati) with three stars who serves as Inspector General of the Ministry of Trade. He has held this position since July 29, 2024.

Previously, Ahmad Luthfi was the Central Java Police Chief for the term of office 1 May 2020-26 July 2024.
