Easy Claims Asking Prabowo For Help, Ridwan Kamil: We've Been Bestie

JAKARTA - Jakarta governor candidate Ridwan Kamil (RK) claims it will be easy to ask for help when dealing with Jakarta if he is later elected as governor.

The reason is, according to RK, the relationship between Prabowo Subianto and the elected President Prabowo Subianto is very close or what is currently called the term 'bestie'.

In fact, said RK, Prabowo directly gave his mandate to take care of Jakarta. Incidentally, Golkar, which is his party, also supports the presidential election of the Gerindra Chairman with the Advanced Indonesia Coalition.

"I am in the coalition of Mr. Prabowo, the president-elect. Incidentally, he wanted me to take care of this area. Because we are already in that ambassador, it's easy if there is anything," said Ridwan Kamil during the Bamus Betawi meeting in East Jakarta, on Friday, September 7 night.

For example, continued RK, if Jakarta lacks funds later, it will be easy to ask the central government for assistance.

Bang Emil also promised to provide additional budget to the community unit (RW) in Jakarta of up to Rp200 million, as one of his programs as governor.

The former Governor of West Java assessed that coordination between the central government and local governments is very important.

It would be even better, he said, if these positions were filled by people who had one frequency.

RK emphasized that coordination between the President and the governor will produce accelerated development and end up benefiting the people.

"But, if the president and governor are not united, not in frequency, of course, they will reply to each other WhatsApp, in writing, maybe they can reply for a long time. Who was harmed? The residents," he said.
