NTB Prosecutor's Office Examines PT GNE Manjer Investigating Allegations Of Corruption In BUMDes Capital Loans

The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) High Prosecutor's Office is investigating allegations of corruption in a number of business activities from PT Gerbang NTB Emas (GNE). Today the Attorney General's Office summoned PT GNE's Finance Manager, Fitria Afrilia.

Spokesperson for the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Efrien Saputera, admitted that he had not received any information regarding Fitria's investigation.

"I have tried to confirm it in the field of Pidsus (special convicts), only until now there has been no information," said Efrien in Mataram, Thursday, September 5, quoted by Antara.

However, PT GNE Public Relations and Media Manager Ahmad Jaelani confirmed that Fitria was being questioned by the NTB Prosecutor's Office in her capacity as Finance Manager of PT GNE. The examination was carried out at the NTB Prosecutor's Office.

"Yes, that's right. The finance manager, Buk Fitria, was questioned by the prosecutor today," he said.

This, he said, was in accordance with information on the summons from the NTB Prosecutor's Office which entered PT GNE NTB.

For other officials from PT GNE NTB, Jaelani confirmed that there were no more summons than Fitria.

"I don't know who else tomorrow or next week. He said there was another summons, we'll just have to wait. Today, only Fitria will be called first," he said.

Regarding the case being handled by the prosecutor's office, Jaelani admitted that he knew about it.

"The allegation of corruption is about capital loans for businesses, for businesses. Like the information that is spread, the nominal budget is Rp. 27 billion," he said.

Furthermore, in the fiscal year that is included in the prosecutor's investigation from 2019 to 2024.

"So, as stated by the prosecutor's office, the estimate is from 2019 to 2024," he said.

As for the types of businesses suspected of having committed a criminal act of corruption, he continued, there were those related to timber businesses, cooperation trading with BUMDes related to the procurement of basic commodities.

"The one who trades is the name of the Mahadesa program, there is also a matter of housing, and cooperation with companies in East Lombok, at that time it was to fulfill the needs in Mandalika, for pebbles and stones if I'm not mistaken, with agrojagung," he said.

Apart from Fitria, there was also information gathered on Mohammad Rum's examination, the former Head of the NTB Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP).

Mohammad Rum's presence at the NTB Prosecutor's Office was strengthened by the statement of a man named Jaka. He admitted that he accompanied Mohammad Rum to meet with the Pidsus prosecutor.

Jaka was observed entering the NTB Prosecutor's Office Building carrying a file with a blue cover written by PT GNE.

"Yes, I want to deliver the files to the top (pidsus room), I am the staff of Haji Rum," he concluded.
