The Investigation Of Kaesang Pangarep's Personal Jet Focuses On Being Investigated By The KPK Through Public Complaints

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said the investigation of the jet aircraft used by the Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep would be focused through public complaints. The process is already in the review stage.

"That currently the focus of handling issues related to gratification, brother K, is focused on the process of fabrication at the Directorate of Public Complaints Service Revenue," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, September 4.

"So currently the KPK is focusing on processing the review, there will be several actions to clarify," he continued.

The first stage, said Tessa, is that the public's complaint section will contact the reporter to ask for further information. "And look for the supporting documents needed to assess whether they will be followed up at the next stage," said the spokesman with the investigator's background.

Currently, two public reports have come in, namely from the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) and a lecturer at the Jakarta State University (UNJ) Ubaidillah Badrun. Both of them reported the use of jet planes by President Joko Widodo's youngest son (Jokowi) during a trip to the United States with his wife, Erina Gudono.

In its report, the Coordinator of the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) Boyamin Saiman conveyed an MoU in collaboration between the Solo City Government and PT Shopee Indonesia International regarding the development of MSMEs. He suspects that the jet aircraft used by Kaesang and his wife is facilitated by the company.

Meanwhile, a lecturer at the Jakarta State University (UNJ), Ubaidillah Badrun, reported Kaesang's luxurious lifestyle with his wife who used a private jet to the United States.

As previously reported, Kaesang Pangarep, who is the youngest child of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and his wife, Erina Gudono, is in the spotlight because of taking a private jet to the United States. Jokowi's son-in-law also uploaded a luxurious lifestyle such as eating Rp400 thousand bread to buying a babystroller for tens of millions while in the US.
