The TNI Commander Ensures That The Regional Head Election Security Is The Same, Including The Battleground For The War Of Central Java Stars

TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto ensures that the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) in all regions is carried out equally and no area is specifically secured by the TNI.

"All areas are considered the same, so that we have more serious security," Agus said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 3.

He said the level of vulnerability in the Pilkada tends to be more dynamic than the presidential election. According to him, TNI soldiers in the field have also mapped vulnerabilities in all regions.

"I think it's not only the TNI later, we are together with the police and the people in the region," he said.

In addition, the Commander also ensured that there was no special security for the Central Java Pilkada which was termed a "star war".

The Central Java Pilkada has candidates for the former Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi and former TNI Commander Andika Perkasa.

"We just go to the area to secure it. We protect together security, if this country is safe, the people will prosper," he said.

The regional elections simultaneously in 2024 to elect governors, regents, mayors and their representatives will begin soon. The KPU has also carried out the registration stages for candidate pairs in the 2024 Pilkada which will take place in 37 provinces and 508 regencies/cities in Indonesia on 27-29 August 2024.

Furthermore, the KPU until September 21, 2024 will carry out the research stages for candidate pairs and will be set on September 22, 2024. Meanwhile, the vote will be held on November 27, 2024.
