KPK Letter Head Of BP Bintan Husband Jelita Jeje Asks To Report Wealth

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has written to the Head of the Bintan Free Trade Area and Free Port Concession Agency (BP Bintan) Farid Irfan Siddik. This step was taken because he had not submitted a report on the assets of state administrators (LHKPN) since taking office in 2022.

"It has been (stricted asking to immediately report the wealth, ed)," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika when confirmed by VOI, Monday, September 2.

Tessa said the letter was made by the anti-corruption commission since August 27 yesterday. "And sent to BP Bintan the day after or August 28," said a spokesman with the background of investigators.

The KPK hopes that Farid will immediately submit his wealth report. Moreover, the obligations for state administrators are listed in KPK Regulation Number 2 of 2020 concerning Procedures for Registration, Announcement, and Examination of Assets of State Administrators.

They are obliged to convey movable, immovable, tangible, or intangible property, including other rights and obligations that can be assessed with money, before and during their tenure.
