President Jokowi Leaves For Bali To Attend Indonesia-Africa Second Forum

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) left for Bali Province in order to attend the second Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) agenda.

Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana said the president departed via Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta.

The Head of State and his entourage took off using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft at around 13.15 WIB.

President Jokowi is scheduled to arrive at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Badung Regency on Sunday afternoon

"The second agenda of the Indonesia-Africa Forum begins with a dinner for leaders and delegates which will be held at the Intercontinental Bali Resort, Badung Regency," Yusuf Permana said as quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, September 1.

The second Indonesia-Africa Forum will be officially opened by President Jokowi at the Mulia Nusa Dua Hotel, Bali, Monday (2/9).

President Jokowi is also scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the forum.

Also accompanying President Jokowi on the flight to Bali Province were Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Coordinator of the Special Staff of President Ari Dwipayana, Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana, and Acting Military Secretary President Brigadier General Heri Purwanto.

Meanwhile, it appears that the President's departure to Bali Province, namely Pangdam Jaya Maj. Gen. Rafael Granada Baay, Kapolda Metro Jaya Inspector General Pol Karyoto, Pangkoopsud I Marsda TNI Mohammad Nurdin, and Danlanud Halim Perdanakusuma Marsma TNI Destianto Nugroho Utomo.
