Jokowi Wears White Safari, Muzani: Hopefully Love With Gerindra Starting From Clothes

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the Gerindra Party, Ahmad Muzani, hopes that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi)'s love for the Gerindra Party will emerge. Moreover, the former governor of DKI Jakarta appeared to be wearing a distinctive uniform commonly used by the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto.

This was conveyed by Muzani in front of President Jokowi who was present at the Cadre Apple and the Closing of the Gerindra Party Rapimnas at the Indonesia Arena, Senayan, Jakarta on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

"We are honored, we feel commendable, and we feel proud today that Pak Jokowi is present in our midst. Especially wearing beige white clothes," said Muzani in his remarks.

Muzani's statement was then greeted by the chants 'Thank you, Mr. Jokowi' by the cadres who were present at the arena. Prabowo also stood up and seemed enthusiastic to hear the song.

"We all hope that Pak Jokowi's love with Gerindra starts with clothes," said Muzani after the chants were finished.

"Indeed, Pak Jokowi in the last few days has attended every party event according to the color of his party. However, usually it is the last love that will blossom in his heart," he continued.

Hearing this statement, Jokowi who sat between Vice President Ma'ruf Amin and Prabowo Subianto laughed. He laughed until he stepped forward a little from the chair he was sitting on.

Continuing his statement, Muzani said that with Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who is the former mayor of Solo, he was able to collect 96.2 million votes in the 2024 presidential election. In the future, his party is ready to continue the success of Jokowi's government.
