PT Artha Graha Internasional Denies Security Threatens TransJakarta Driver

PT Bank Artha Graha Internasional (AGI) denies any threatening actions carried out by bank security against TransJakarta bus drivers. The objection was submitted through a letter sent to VOI editorial on Friday, August 30, 2024.

In a letter signed by Rocky S Laurens, as Corporate Relations, and Daniel Sitohang as EO Corporate Affairs, it was explained that the information regarding the threat was not true. They stated that there was no threat from AGI security to the TransJakarta bus driver.

"This information is not true because there is no threat from the security guard of PT Bank Artha Graha Internasional Tbk to the TransJakarta bus driver," the letter said.

This denial arose after news circulated that Bank AGI security threatened the TransJakarta bus driver. The news comes from the upload of the TikTok account @radityashirajipramudipta on Thursday, August 29. In his upload, the account tells the chronology of events that are considered a threat by bank security.

After PT Artha Graha Internasional Tbk sent a statement letter, the TikTok account @radityashirajipramudipta provided clarification. Raditya admitted that the incident was the result of a misunderstanding and had been resolved amicably at the Matraman Police.

"I can say that this incident was caused by a misunderstanding and has been resolved amicably at the Matraman Police. With this settlement, I have deleted the post on the TikTok account on my own accordance and without coercion from any party," explained Raditya Shiraji P. in his clarification letter.
