West Java Regional Head Election, Dedi-Erwan And Syaikhu-Ilham Pairs Undergo Health Tests At Hasan Sadikin Hospital

BANDUNG- President Director of RSUP Dr Hasan Sadikin Bandung Rachim Dinata Marsidi said that the two pairs of candidates for Governor and Deputy Governor of West Java (West Java) underwent a health check which is part of the registration stage for the 2024 Pilkada.

Rachmin said the examination for candidates for regional heads was carried out in full, starting from internal diseases, heart disease, lungs, noble functions, psychiatry, to eye examinations.

"Later there will be several supports, such as EKG (electrocardiogram), if necessary there may be a CT Scan later, but if the physical examination and supporting standards are good, it's enough to get there," said Rachim, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, August 30.

During a health check at RSHS Bandung, the Dedi Mulyadi-Erwan Setiawan pair arrived first. Moments later, the pair Ahmad Syaikhu-Ilham Akbar Habibie came and immediately entered the RSHS building complex in Bandung.

West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi said it was important to carry out health tests for prospective leaders, not only about physical health, but also his soul.

"The most important thing is his mental health, the spirit of the leader to be able to lead well and be able to set an example for the community how to live a healthy life," said Dedi Mulyadi.

Meanwhile, West Java gubernatorial candidate Ahmad Syaikhu hopes that all this health check process will run well and smoothly.

"Hopefully this health check will be carried out smoothly and all can be healthy, God willing, to welcome future tasks in the success of the 2024 Pilkada," said Syaikhu.

Previously, the West Java KPU appointed Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) Bandung as a health check for prospective pairs of Governors and Deputy Governors of West Java.

Chairman of the West Java KPU Technical Division Adi Saputro said previously the West Java Provincial Health Office gave three hospital recommendations as locations for medical examinations, namely RSHS Bandung City, Al Ihsan Hospital, Bandung Regency and Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Jakarta.

"Of the three hospitals, the West Java KPU has designated Hasan Sadikin Hospital as a health check place for prospective Governors and Deputy Governors of West Java," he said.
