Cursing The Suicide Bombing At Cathedral Church, Jusuf Kalla Asks For It To Be Revealed Immediately

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) M. Jusuf Kalla strongly condemns the suicide bombing in front of the Makassar City Cathedral Church. Law enforcement officials were asked to immediately uncover the mastermind and motive for the action.

"I strongly condemn the bombing. I also hope that the security forces can immediately reveal the motive and arrest the perpetrators' network," Jusuf Kalla said in his statement on Sunday, March 28.

Apart from that, the man who was called JK also expressed his condolences to the innocent victim. Not only that, he expressed his sympathy for the victims' families.

"Condolences to the innocent victims and their families," said the Vice President in the Jokowi and SBY era.

Furthermore, Jusuf Kalla emphasized that all forms of terrorism should not be tolerated. This is because in all religions these actions cannot be justified.

"We cannot tolerate all forms of terror because in any religion such acts are not justified," he said.

Previously it was reported that an explosion suspected of a suicide bombing occurred in the vicinity of the Cathedral Church, Kota Makassar, Sunday, March 28. As a result of this explosion, several people became victims.

The explosion is said to have come from one of the motorcyclists. He had previously tried to enter the church.
