Sukabumi Junior High School Student Dies Persecuted With Taja Weapons

SUKABUMI - The Sukabumi Regency Education Office (Disdik) confirmed that there was a case of abuse committed by a junior high school student in Sukabumi Regency, West Java which resulted in the death of one class IX student.

"It happened when the victim with the initials G, who was a student at a public junior high school in Cicurug District, was about to go home from school," said Head of Student Affairs and Middle School Management of Sukabumi Regency Education and Education Office Devi Indra Kusumah as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 28.

According to Devi, from the information she received, the victim who was walking with her colleagues was suddenly approached and chased by private junior high school students who were carrying sharp weapons.

However, G did not manage to save himself and was hit by a sharp weapon on the back and immediately collapsed on the road.

After molesting the victim, the student then fled while the critical G was immediately evacuated by residents to the clinic.

Due to a severe bleeding, the victim was then referred to Betha Medika Hospital Cicurug, but his life could not be saved. Information from medical officers showed that the victim's death was due to bleeding.

"The victim is known to be a good child and has never caused trouble, so we were surprised to receive information about a case. The victim is a transfer student from another school and according to information, he has once been in a junior high school with the alleged perpetrator," he added.
