JAKARTA Uswatun (49), the boss of bajaj in Setiabudi, South Jakarta admitted that he lost hundreds of millions of rupiah because one of his bajaj units was stolen on Jalan Subur Raya.

Uswatun realized that his bajaj was missing on Sunday night, August 19 when he checked the condition of all units. Instantly he realized the number was not in accordance with what he had.

"Usually there is a line of four seeds (unit), but this is not one," Uswatun told reporters, Tuesday, August 27.

Uswatun initially suspected that his driver or his subordinate was Husen who brought bajaj. Because, he felt the key was brought by Husen.

"I asked my driver, he (Husen) said 'no ma'am. Why isn't there, bro. Then I called my place," he said.

"Then I checked the CCTV near the location. It turned out that the thief was taken," he continued.

Based on CCTV footage, the perpetrators numbered 2 people. They divided the tasks when carrying out the action.

"I saw from CCTV there were 2 people, someone was watching the road. Someone took my bajaj," he said.

After the incident, Uswatun made a police report at the Setibudi Police. However, it failed, because he could not show vehicle documents such as the BPKB that had been pawned.

"I haven't reported it yet. The problem is that the BPKB has been pawned. I can't give the documents yet," he said.

He admitted that he had suffered losses of hundreds of millions of rupiah after losing one of his bajaj.

"The loss is hundreds of millions, the 2.5 million installments are 2 years, then the DP is Rp. 32 million. If it is calculated, it is up to hundreds of millions," he concluded.
