JAKARTA - The Muhammadiyah Central Executive (PP) said his party was still waiting for the location and allocation of the mine provided by the government. Previously, Muhammadiyah stated that he accepted the management of the Mining Business License (IUP) at the National Consolidation at the end of last July. "Now we don't know where the location is, we don't know yet. From the location and the allocation is how much and where we don't know yet," said PP Muhammadiyah General Secretary Abdul Mu'ti in Jakarta, Tuesday, August 27, quoted by Antara. Mu'ti's statement responded to questions about the discourse of returning the IUP if Muhammadiyah received a used mining land. On Monday, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia said Muhammadiyah religious organizations would soon receive a mine from the former Coal Mining Concession Work Agreement (PKP2B) owned by PT Adaro Energy Tbk or PT Arutmin Indonesia. "Most likely ex Adaro or ex-Arutmin," said Bahlil.

According to Bahlil, he has provided a disposition to be followed up, and will further inform further developments in the future. Bahlil conveyed that the mine that was to be given to Muhammadiyah was quite wide, and had suitable reserves. Responding to this, Mu'ti emphasized that her party had not yet received an IUP. This permit will become the basis for Muhammadiyah to be able to manage mining.
