JAKARTA - The Special Staff (Staffsus) of the President Juri Ardiantoro stated that the issue of a link between President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto was a matchmaking attempt that was deliberately designed to disrupt the sustainability of the government.

Juri Ardiantoro, through his statement in Jakarta, Monday, August 26, said the speculation would only create instability and damage the focus on the ongoing government agenda.

"If there are real attempts to pit each other, it turns out that the relationship between President Joko Widodo and the current president of the crack is an attempt to disrupt the government's sustainability agenda," he said.

The jury said the fighting was designed by compiling various information, events, and events that have occurred recently, then concluded with confidence that there had been cracks.

The jury explained that the main focus of President Joko Widodo's current government is to lay a strong foundation to smooth the transition to government.

According to the jury, President Joko Widodo provides a wide place and opportunity for Prabowo, who is the President, to prepare strategic agendas to carry out his vision and mission for the sustainability of the government.

"Where is the rift? That is Pak Prabowo's question. The President-elect firmly rejects various speculations, rumors, and even political efforts aimed at fighting against President Joko Widodo," he said.

The jury added that the politics of fighting against each other is an outdated politics that the Indonesian people really don't like.

"So, stop building narratives and speculation that are divided among us as a nation," he said.

Previously at the close of the PAN Congress, last Saturday, Prabowo responded to the issue of rifts with President Jokowi. He called the issue an attempt to fight against each other and admitted that he had no problem with it.

He asked that there be no more use of the fighting method and emphasized that intelligence should be used for the benefit of the nation, not to spy on political opponents.
