Cak Imin: Proud Of The PKB Seat In Parliament To Increase, Despite Being Bomped By His Own Friends

NUSA Dua - Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar assessed that currently his party is growing. This is seen from the increase in the number of seats in the DPR, provincial DPRD, and district/city DPRD. This was conveyed by Cak Imin in the 6th PKB event on the second day. Cak Imin admitted that he was proud that the number of PKB representations in parliament increased despite the obstacles from the surrounding parties. "PKB actually escaped with all the limitations we had, even though it was boyned by our own friends, was bombed in various ways. Alhamdulillah, what I want to convey as tahadduts bin ni'mah. The more PKB, it seems that the more strong and large," said Cak Imin at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Sunday, August 25. In the 2024 Legislative Election, PKB managed to obtain an increase in the number of parliamentary seats in the 2024 Legislative Election, namely the DPR RI increased from 58 to 68, the provincial DPRD from 177 to 220, the district/city DPRD from 1,829 seats. This condition is seen by Cak Imin as the achievement inscribed by PKB. Because, he considered the 2024 election to be the most brutal and unhealthy democracy contestation between his election participants. "Brutally in a way of competition, brutal in a way of using money for winning, brutal in every way to slander," said the Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives.

"Alhamdulillah, with all the limitations they have, PKB cadres with limited PKB candidates, thank God PKB boats can navigate the oceans with challenges to attack barriers and various slanders so that they reach the port we are aiming for. PKB has received a very significant increase in acquisition," he added. As is known, in the activities of the congress, Muhaimin Iskandar was elected by acclamation as Chairman of PKB for the period 2024-2029. Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Ma'ruf Amin was also elected as Chairman of the PKB Syuro Council for the next five years.
