PKS Optimistic Ridwan Kamil-Suswono Pair Will Win The 2024 DKI Gubernatorial Election

Chairman of the Election and Regional Head Election Winning Body (Bappilu) of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), Abuzar Alghifari, said that his party had decided not to be influenced by the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) in determining its candidate in the contestation of the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election.

"The DPW leadership submitted the Constitutional Court's decision to the legal team and in the end decided that it would not be affected by the Constitutional Court's decision. Whether or not there was a decision by the Constitutional Court 60, PKS had decided together with RK with his deputy candidate Suswono. And this has also been decided by the shuro assembly," said the chairman of the Election and Regional Election Winning Body (Bappilu) of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) DPW Jakarta, Abuzar Alghifari to VOI in a written message, Sunday, August 25.

Abuzar said the internal PKS had conducted a survey before making his choice with Ridwan Kamil. He added that based on the survey results, Ridwan Kamil was a very suitable figure as governor in Jakarta.

"The figure of RK has become one of several external candidates for PKS Jakarta and has also been included in an internal survey conducted by PKS Jakarta," he said.

One of the important points in the investigation of Ridwan Kamil, DPW PKS Jakarta assessed that the work program of the former Governor of West Java could meet expectations from the people of Jakarta.

"Alhamdulillah, it has been discussed together, the program plan will be implemented in Jakarta, if elected later. God willing, New Jakarta and Advanced Jakarta will meet the expectations of the people of Jakarta," he said.
