Minister Of PANRB Calls Digitalization Key To Implementation Of Programs In Nutrition Agencys

JAKARTA - Digitalization is the key to supporting the implementation of programs in the National Nutrition Agency. This was conveyed by the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas.

"Congratulations to Prof. Dadan who has been elected as the new Head of the National Nutrition Agency, but this requires hard work. Of course this must be supported by good governance and business processes and controlled digitally," said Anas, as reported by ANTARA, according to his statement in Jakarta, Saturday, August 24.

In the brief meeting, Anas together with the Head of the National Nutrition Agency Dadan Hindayana discussed the free lunch program scheme which became the dream of the Elected President Prabowo Subianto.

He explained that later with the program, the community's economy will also develop because the raw materials used also come from local farmers.

"I was coordinating on how to manage it, HR, and others. Really this is a noble mission, of course it needs to be encouraged by extraordinary governance and execution," he said.

Anas also provides input related to the management of human resources (HR), and a scheme in the implementation of the free lunch program.

He gave an example of how the Rantang Kasih program has been implemented by the Banyuwangi Regency Government.

"This innovation provides food assistance to residents who are alone, the elderly, by sending free food regularly," said Anas.

The former Head of the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP) hopes that in the future the program can run smoothly, supported by good governance.

"Hopefully the nutritious eating program in schools will be able to run well. Of course, the governance and the prepared system will run smoothly and well," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the National Nutrition Agency Dadan Hindayana thanked PANRB Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas for the direction he gave.

According to him, there are many inputs so that the program can run well.

"Thank you to the Minister of PANRB, who has received us and has given many directions, especially regarding what we have to take care of so that this program can run well, but does not violate the existing rules and remain on the right track," concluded Dadan.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo has formed the National Nutrition Agency through Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 83 of 2024 concerning the National Nutrition Agency on August 15, 2024.

Through the Presidential Decree, it is stated that the target of fulfilling nutrition which is the task and function of the National Nutrition Agency is given to students at the level of early childhood education, primary education, and secondary education in the general education environment, vocational education, religious education, special education, special service education, and pesantren education; children under the age of five; pregnant women; and breastfeeding mothers.
