Wearing A Blue Shirt, President Jokowi Attends The PAN Congress

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) attended the opening ceremony of the 26th National Mandate Party (PAN) Congress in Jakarta, Friday, wearing a blue shirt.

Reported by ANTARA, the President appeared to arrive at the event location at around 19.00 WIB, Friday, August 23. When Jokowi arrived, he was greeted by PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan and the PAN DPP board members.

Before Jokowi arrived, the Elected Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka appeared to have arrived wearing blue batik.

Previously, on Thursday (22/8) the President also attended the closing ceremony of the Golkar Party National Conference at the Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta.

At that time President Widodo wore a yellow shirt identical to the Golkar Party color.

The President said the use of the yellow shirt was a form of respect for the party.

"Yes, the clothes are adjusted. The clothes I wear are out of respect, to respect those who have the event, namely the Golkar Party," said Jokowi yesterday.
