Student-Labor Demonstration In Jakarta, Police Implement Traffic Engineering

JAKARTA - The police are preparing traffic engineering (traffic) due to demonstrations or demonstrations at a number of points in DKI Jakarta. This is done to unravel the congestion at that location.

As is known in front of the DPR MPR RI Building, in front of the Constitutional Court Building (MK) and the Presidential Palace, Jakarta is a point of demonstration by students to workers.

"The traffic engineering is situational," said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Latif Usman, to reporters, Thursday, August 22.

Latif suggested to the user of the vehicle to look for other alternative roads. So that it does not cause severe congestion at that point.

"People are heading around the State Palace to find other alternative ways," he said.

The following is traffic engineering around the DPR/MPR RI Building:

1. Traffic flow from the direction of the Shooting Field TL to Jalan Gatot Subroto, is turned back under bulk 2 or diverted to the Ladokgi kite climb towards Semanggi

2. The traffic flow from the Inner City Toll Road that will come out at the Pulo Dua offramp is straightened towards the Tomang Toll Road

3. Traffic flow from Jalan Palmerah Timur to Jalan Gelora / back door of the DPR/MPR RI Building is straightened out by Jalan Army Students / Jalan Permata Hijau

4. The traffic flow from Jalan Gerbang Pemuda to Jalan Gelora / back door of the DPR/MPR RI Building is diverted to the left of Jalan Asia Afrika

5. Traffic flow from Jalan Asia Afrika to TL Shooting Field is diverted to the right of Jalan Pintu 1 Senayan or turned around at TL Asia Afrika

6. The traffic flow from Semanggi to Slipi is diverted to the left in bulk 2/Landokgi to Jalan Gerbang Pemuda

7. The traffic flow from the direction of Slipi heading to Jalan Gerbang Pemuda is straightened towards Semanggi

The following is traffic engineering around the Presidential Palace and the Constitutional Court Building

1. Traffic flow from HI to Merdeka Barat Street is diverted to Jalan Budi Kemuliaan or Jalan Merdeka Selatan

2. Traffic flow from Tugu Tani to Jalan Merdeka Utara is diverted to Jalan Perwira (situational)

3. Traffic flow from Jalan Hayam Wuruk to Jalan Majapahit / Jalan Merdeka Utara is diverted to Jalan Juanda or to Jalan Suryopranoto

4. Abdul Muis Street to Jalan Gajah Mada is diverted to Jalan Tanah Abang 1
