JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) canceled examining the Director of PT Integra Padma Mandiri, Budi Pamungkas today, Tuesday, August 20. The witness in the corruption case in the procurement of social assistance (bansos) for the president during the COVID-19 pandemic confirmed that he could not attend due to health reasons. "There was a request for a reschedule from witness BP for health reasons," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Tuesday, August 20. Tessa has not detailed BP's recall. This examination should have been carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. Previously reported, the KPK revealed that it was investigating allegations of corruption in the procurement of presidential social assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic which was distributed in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) in 2020. There are already suspects named, namely Ivo Wongkaren who is the President Director of Mitra Energi Persada. The actions of the suspect in this case, called the anti-corruption commission, made the state lose up to Rp250 billion. This figure can still increase because the calculation is still being carried out.

The procurement that was corrupted was said to have reached 6 million packages of anti-corruption commission. This figure is divided into three stages, namely, stages three, five, and six, the other reaching two million packages.
