BOSTON - The shooting near the Boston festival, Massachusetts, United States, resulted in five people being injured. Police are looking for the shooter
The shooting took place Sunday night at Franklin Park when the Dominica festival ended. Police said three men and two women suffered gunshot wounds.
"We need to hold these people accountable, whether it's individuals or individuals responsible for this heinous act, you know, shootings at the crowd," Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox told reporters.
Cox said police heard gunshots. Authorities directed pedestrians out of the park. Police did not receive any updates on Monday, including whether there was more than one shooter.
"The shooting really damaged a pretty successful event for the people here," Cox said.
