Woman In South Jakarta Allegedly Victim Of Domestic Violence Admits Her Husband Was Arrested In Drug Cases

JAKARTA - The woman with the initials SB (25) is suspected of being a victim of a domestic violence (KDRT) case in South Jakarta (Jaksel) admitted that her legal husband, AR, was once caught in a drug case.

Her husband, who was involved in drug abuse, was caught by the police while SB was pregnant.

"When I started close to him, he finished rehab, then he was caught at his workplace when my first child was 8 months old, I think," said SB when confirmed, Sunday, August 18.

SB said that after being released from serving a prison sentence, AR continued to use drugs.

"Yes, because he had used drugs and in the past month he was caught again using (drugs)," said SB.

Selsa said the drugs used by AR were marijuana. "The marijuana I know. Apart from (the drug) I don't know," he added.

Previously, SB reported her husband AR for the domestic violence case. SB said AR abused him in the Pancoran area, South Jakarta, on Friday, August 16, at 14.00 WIB.

SB has reported the matter to the South Jakarta Metro Police. The report is registered with Number:/LP/B/2496/VII/2024/SPKT/POLRES METRO JAKSEL/POLDA METRO JAYA.
