Bahlil Lahadalia Confirmed To Be A Single Candidate For Ketum Golkar

JAKARTA - Investment Minister Bahlil Lahadalia is confirmed to be the sole candidate for chairman of the Golkar Party at the National Conference which will be held on August 20. This was conveyed by the Golkar politician, Nusron Wahid when asked about Bahlil who would be the sole candidate for Ketum Golkar. "So far, yes. That's all," said Nusron at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, August 16. Even when asked about the acclamation, Nusron answered that so far the information was true. "So far, yes," he said. However, Nusron denied that Bahlil was mentioned as being entrusted by President Joko Widodo. Later, Jokowi was rumored to want to take over the Golkar Party. "There is no direction from the president. There is nothing," he said.

Nusron admitted that he agreed if Bahlil became the sole candidate for the Ketum Golkar. "Yes, okay. If it's a decision, okay, if the majority has been agreed, it's okay," he concluded.
